When I was in middle school, I was assigned to recreate a famous work of art in my own style. I begrudgingly completed my replica of Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, but by finger painting. I ended up loving the process. I loved getting my hands dirty and I loved the blending and textures I could create with the acrylics. Inculded are some examples of that process taken from a children's book I illustrated 2 years ago and from a recent advertisement.
